Soccer Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short on the Road Against Champion

Lakeview had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Champion Golden Flashes by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Lakeview couldn't quite close it out.

Lakeview didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-1 victory against South Range on the 20th. As for Champion, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Girard on the 18th.
