Softball Recap: Kingston Comes Up Short

Kingston fell victim to Newburgh Free Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Goldbacks. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this game were averaging four runs allowed.

Kingston's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-1. As for Newburgh Free Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingston will challenge Middletown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Newburgh Free Academy, they will take on Rondout Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
