Football Recap: Salmen Wins Going Away Against Liberty Magnet

Salmen won the last time they faced Liberty Magnet and things went their way on Friday too. The Spartans strolled past the Patriots with points to spare, taking the game 38-22. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Despite the loss, Liberty Magnet still got an impressive performance from Zaiden Foster, who rushed for 184 yards and one score while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Foster is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 114 every time he's taken the field this season.

The win got Salmen back to even at 2-2. As for Liberty Magnet, they dropped their record down to 2-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Salmen will host Lakeshore at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeshore's defense has only allowed ten points per game this season, so Salmen's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Liberty Magnet, they will take on Bogalusa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be up against the Lumberjacks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
