Softball Recap: Western Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Napoleon, Western was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Eaton Rapids Greyhounds a 2-0 shutout. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Western's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Eaton Rapids, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-14 record this season.

Western wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 win against Michigan Center on the 30th. Eaton Rapids does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
