Central had won six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 7-1 to make it seven. They put the hurt on the Carver Montgomery Wolverines with a sharp 58-35 win. Considering the Red Devils have won six matchups by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jayshaun Woodhouse continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 238 yards and three TDs on only 12 carries, while also picking up 30 receiving yards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 109.6 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Bobby Coleman, who threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt.

Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brennan Core and Jermaine King. Several Wolverines players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Elijah Tarver, who rushed for 117 yards and a pair of scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Zion Crumpton, who rushed for 85 yards on only 11 carries.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-6 victory against Opelika on the 17th. As for Carver Montgomery, they have also already played their next game, a 41-7 defeat against Auburn on the 17th.
