Volleyball Recap: Tough Loss for Immaculate Conception

The Immaculate Conception Spartans came up short against the Lowell Cardinals on Friday, falling 3-0. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Immaculate Conception has now lost 12 of their last 14 games on the road. That's part of the reason why they have a 10-16 record this season. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 6-0 Lincoln and 3-1 Washington (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 74.2% over those games). As for Lowell, they pushed their record up to 16-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Immaculate Conception will welcome Terra Nova at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lowell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
