Basketball Recap: Hurricane Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Carson O?Dell and Jojo Greene

Hurricane was the 51-48 winner over St. Albans when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hurricane Redskins fell 72-62 to the St. Albans Red Dragons on Tuesday.

Hurricane's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jojo Greene, who posted 19 points and eight boards, and Carson O?Dell, who went 6 of 15 en route to 16 points. Greene is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Parker O?Dell was another key player, putting up ten points.

Hurricane's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for St. Albans, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Parkersburg the next time they take the court. St. Albans will head out to face Parkersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Hurricane will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
