Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Holt

Holt proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 15) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Marshall Redhawks 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since March 25th.

The win was the third in a row for Holt, bringing their record up to 7-9. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Holt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-3 win against East Lansing on the 4th. As for Marshall, they will challenge Northwest at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
