Basketball Recap: Parkview Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Plains last Friday, Parkview came back down to earth. The Parkview Vikings came up short against the Nixa Eagles on Tuesday, falling 73-47. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Parkview has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Nixa, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Parkview will head out on the road to square off against Father Tolton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Father Tolton has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 206 points over their last three contests. Nixa has already played their next matchup (against New Madrid County Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
