Baseball Game Preview: Webbers Falls Warriors vs. Keota Lions

Webbers Falls has gone 8-2 against Keota recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Webbers Falls Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Keota Lions at 4:00 p.m. The contest will give Webbers Falls their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.

Webbers Falls fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against McCurtain on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 6-5.

Meanwhile, Keota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of Arkoma. Even if the Lions couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Keota saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Decker, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-5.

Keota's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Webbers Falls, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything went Webbers Falls' way against Keota when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Webbers Falls made off with a 10-2 win. Will Webbers Falls repeat their success, or does Keota have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
