Roma and Juarez-Lincoln are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Roma Gladiators will welcome the Juarez-Lincoln Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roma will be strutting in after a win while Juarez-Lincoln will be coming in after a defeat.

Roma will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Edinburg, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Roma walked away with a 9-6 victory over Edinburg on Friday.

Meanwhile, Juarez-Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cigarroa. One positive for the Huskies, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Juarez-Lincoln saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raymundo Villarreal, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another was Sebastian Lopez, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Roma's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Juarez-Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Roma skirted past Juarez-Lincoln 4-3 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will Roma repeat their success, or does Juarez-Lincoln have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
