Softball Recap: Egg Harbor Township Triumphs

Egg Harbor Township's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over the Gloucester City Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since May 30, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Kaci Velardi, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie VanDine, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
