            The Sutter Huskies will face off against the Natomas Nighthawks at 1:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sutter has eight straight  victories, Natomas has 32 straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Tuesday,  it was close, but  Sutter sidestepped Maxwell for  a  3-2 win. That's two games straight that the Huskies have won by  just one  run.
Sutter's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Ezra Hilleary, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
 Sutter  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Maxwell struck out seven times.
 Natomas played against Sutter on Monday and lost via forfeit.
 Sutter pushed their record up to 21-3 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Natomas, their loss dropped their record down to 0-20.
