Old Bridge extended their postseason success on Thursday against Manalapan. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Braves a 1-0 shutout. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 victory the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Old Bridge is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Manalapan, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-14.

Coming up, Old Bridge will take on Edison on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. Manalapan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
