Basketball Recap: Hamady Comes Up Short

Hamady has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 69-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Goodrich Martians on Monday. The Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Martians from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Hamady's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Goodrich, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Hamady and Goodrich should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Hamady will face off against Lapeer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday up 231 places (106 vs. 337). Hamady is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road dating back to last season. Similarly, Goodrich (ranked 85th) will meet Clio (ranked 570th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
