Baseball Recap: Orange Beach Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Orange Beach waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Randolph School Raiders. The matchup marked the Makos' most dominant win of the season so far.

Matthew Hoover looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Joel Chandler, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Ford, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Orange Beach's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Randolph School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
