Soccer Game Preview: Woodlands Academy vs. Grant Community

The Woodlands Academy Wildcats will challenge the Grant Community Bulldogs at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Woodlands Academy managed to keep up with Pritzker until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats lost 7-2 to the Jaguars. Woodlands Academy have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Grant Community came up short against Solorio on Saturday, falling 5-2. While losing is never fun, Grant Community can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 221st, while Solorio are ranked 99th).

Grant Community's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Woodlands Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.
