Volleyball Recap: Santa Ana Takes a Loss

Santa Ana entered their match against Westminster on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Santa Ana lost 3-0 to Westminster. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on March 6th.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 25-9.

Santa Ana suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 5-11. As for Westminster, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santa Ana will welcome Buena Park at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westminster, they will host Ocean View at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
