The home team had won the previous two meetings between Concordia and Southeast of Saline, and Concordia kept the tradition alive. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Trojans on Saturday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Concordia never let Southeast of Saline on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18.

Jaylin Roush paced Concordia's offense, picking up seven kills. Roush got some help from Rylie Jessup and her seven assists. Marlee Vanmeter controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Concordia's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Southeast of Saline, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.
