Basketball Recap: Woodward Comes Up Short

Woodward suffered their biggest loss since December 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Kingfisher Yellowjackets, falling 61-39. The Boomers haven't had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Woodward's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Kingfisher, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Woodward will challenge Anadarko at 6:30 p.m. on February 18th. As for Kingfisher, they will square off against Elk City at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
