Volleyball Recap: Richmond Starts off Right with Win over Centerville

Richmond had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Centerville Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Devils also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While Richmond won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15.

Richmond didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Pendleton Heights on the 18th. As for Centerville, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Randolph Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
