Midland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Sacred Heart Rebels, falling 71-44. One positive for the Mustangs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Midland's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Sacred Heart, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6.

Midland won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Nemo Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nemo Vista has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Sacred Heart, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Guy-Perkins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
