Basketball Recap: Baker Skates Past St. Labre Indian Catholic with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Baker). They breezed by the St. Labre Indian Catholic Braves to the tune of 112-24 on Saturday. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 29 points or more this season.

Baker is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 52.4 points. As for St. Labre Indian Catholic, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baker will welcome Custer County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Labre Indian Catholic, they will be playing at home against Roundup at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st.
