Volleyball Recap: Peniel Baptist Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Palatka

Peniel Baptist Academy had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Palatka Panthers, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost eight in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-17.

Annie Brantley paced Peniel Baptist Academy's offense, picking up two kills. Brantley got some help from Allie Peacock and her four assists.

Among those leading the charge was Anslee Wells, who had ten digs and three aces.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peniel Baptist Academy will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Aucilla Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palatka, they will take on Interlachen at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
