Basketball Recap: Forbush Falcons vs. Starmount Rams
Forbush was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Starmount Rams. The Falcons lost against the Rams in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 67-34 score last time.
Forbush lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Tyler Bryant, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 12 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Wolfe, who posted five points and four steals.
Corey Armstrong was the offensive standout of the game as he dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Ryley Rodriguez was another key player, putting up ten points.

Starmount will take on North Davidson in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Davidson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61 points per game this season.
