Baseball Game Preview: Rye Garnets vs. Harrison Huskies

The Rye Garnets will square off against the Harrison Huskies at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Rye's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Harrison has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

While Rye's victory against Eastchester wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Garnets narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Eagles 3-1. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Meanwhile, Harrison fell victim to Tappan Zee and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dutchmen. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Rye's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Rye skirted past Harrison 5-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Will the Garnets repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
