Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grants). They put the hurt on the Valencia Jaguars with a sharp 25-1 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won nine in a row.

Grants pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Valencia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
