Basketball Game Preview: Surrey Mustangs vs. Kenmare/Bowbells

The Surrey Mustangs will square off against Kenmare/Bowbells at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Surrey has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 16.

Last Monday, Surrey had to suffer through a 95-42 loss at the hands of Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Mavericks are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, Kenmare/Bowbells didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Divide County on Monday, but they still walked away with a 57-53 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kenmare/Bowbells.

Kenmare/Bowbells' victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Surrey, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
