Recap: Pendleton Buckaroos vs. Clarkston Bantams
The Pendleton Buckaroos are ranked highly in their home state, and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the Clarkston Bantams. Pendleton took a 47-32 bruising from Clarkston. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pendleton in their matchups with Clarkston: they've now lost six in a row.
Pendleton's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Griffin Coiner, who scored 6 points.
Pendleton now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Clarkston, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pendleton will challenge Philomath at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clarkston, they will head out on the road to face off against Colfax at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
