Western Sierra Collegiate Academy proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted since August 25th.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy wouldn't go down easily and took John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills into a fifth set where they got it done with a 12-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-19, 25-9, 18-25, 15-3.

Meanwhile, Westlake Charter got the win against Creative Connections Arts Academy on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Explorers in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won six in a row.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy's record is now 19-10. As for Westlake Charter, their record now sits at 14-12.
