Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Dillon Christian

Dillon Christian extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Thompson Stone. The Dillon Christian Warriors came out on top against the Conway Christian Eagles by a score of 55-43 on Monday thanks in part to Stone, who posted 23 points. He has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last ten times he's played.

Another player making a difference was Jackson Outlar, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards. He is becoming a predictor of Dillon Christian's success: when he posts at least eight rebounds the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).

Dillon Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Conway Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Southeastern Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Dillon Christian will host Southeastern Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Conway Christian will host them at 6:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
