Soccer Game Preview: Willow Glen vs. Leigh

The Willow Glen Rams will take on the Leigh Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Willow Glen is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Pioneer on Tuesday. The Rams took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Willow Glen came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 185th, while Pioneer are ranked 533rd).

Meanwhile, Leigh didn't have quite enough to beat Westmont on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Willow Glen's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-3. As for Leigh, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
