Volleyball Recap: Grace Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The Grace Christian Academy Lions didn't have quite enough to beat the Springfield Yellow Jackets on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Shealeigh Phillips paced Grace Christian Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Phillips got some help from Nola Kate Miller and her 13 assists. Lily Conrad controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Grace Christian Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Springfield, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.

Grace Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Battle Ground Academy on the 22nd. As for Springfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Clarksville on the 23rd.
