Basketball Recap: Northern Nash Beats East Wake for Their Fourth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Northern Nash put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 62-48 win over the East Wake Warriors. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by exactly 14 points.

Northern Nash found their leader in freshman Quantay James, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 19 points in addition to eight assists and five rebounds. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for James. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Silver, who almost dropped a triple-double with nine points, 14 boards, and nine blocks.

Northern Nash was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Northern Nash's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for East Wake, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, East Wake won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rolesville at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. Northern Nash will be paying especially close attention to East Wake's matchup: after East Wake faces off against Rolesville, they'll take on Northern Nash again at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
