There's no place like home for Lordsburg, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Thursday. They breezed past the Capitan Tigers to the tune of  76-31 on Saturday. The Mavericks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  matches by 23  points or more this season.
Leading Lordsburg to victory were  Zeke De La O and  Daniel Scott.  De La O  posted 27 points and five  boards, while  Scott  dropped  a double-double with 14  points and 13  rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which  De La O has scored at least a third of Lordsburg's points.  Aaron Salazar was another key player,  putting up eight  points and five  boards.
 Lordsburg  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 18  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least nine  offensive rebounds in eight consecutive  games.
Lordsburg's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Capitan, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost 12 of their last 13 contests,  which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-20 record  this season.
