Recap: Perry Bluejays vs. A-D-M Tigers
The Perry Bluejays lost against the A-D-M Tigers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Perry was outmatched by A-D-M on the road and fell 81-37. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Perry has scored all season.
Gustavo Drahos and Alix Colas certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Drahos scored 12 points, while Colas scored nine points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him.
Perry struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Perry's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for A-D-M, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry won't have much time to rest: their next match is against West Marshall at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. A-D-M will be home for the holidays to greet Van Meter at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Van Meter will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while A-D-M is ranked 16th).
