Volleyball Recap: New Heights Christian Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact New Heights Christian Academy can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Billings Wildcats on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Lydia Hipple paced New Heights Christian Academy's offense, picking up 21 kills. Hipple got some help from Caitlin Meppelink and her 30 assists. Hipple was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

New Heights Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 19-10-5. As for Billings, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 25-10-4.

New Heights Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Billings, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Liberal on the 1st.
