Warren had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Kolby Pope sure wasn't going down easily. Pope wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was his fifth straight with seven or more strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Pope and Warren will face off against DeWitt at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Pope's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Lumberjacks' 11-game streak of wins on the road.
