The Lincoln College Prep Blue Tigers will head out to square off against Kauffman at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln College Prep will be strutting in after a win while Kauffman will be coming in after a loss.

Lincoln College Prep took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Thursday. They blew past Center, posting a 56-16 victory. Given the Blue Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 227th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 465th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lincoln College Prep found their leader in freshman Amaja Hemmings, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hemmings has scored all season. Dashion Andrews was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Kauffman took a blow against Lincoln College Prep two weeks ago, falling 59-16. Kauffman has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln College Prep's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Kauffman, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Everything came up roses for Lincoln College Prep against Kauffman in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as the squad secured a 59-16 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lincoln College Prep since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
