Basketball Recap: Pine Eagle Takes a Loss

Pine Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 61-46 bruising from the Wallowa Cougars. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by exactly 15 points.

Pine Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Wallowa, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-15 record this season.

Pine Eagle will be playing at home against Union at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Union will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Pine Eagle surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wallowa, they will head out to challenge Joseph at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
