Soccer Game Preview: Crowley vs. Mansfield Legacy

Crowley is 1-9 against Mansfield Legacy since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Crowley Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Mansfield Legacy Broncos at 7:00 p.m. Crowley has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Crowley is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They lost 9-1 to Lake Ridge. While losing is never fun, Crowley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 436th, while Lake Ridge is ranked 44th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mansfield Legacy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They never let Boswell get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Mansfield Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Crowley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Crowley suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Mansfield Legacy in their previous meeting back in February. Can Crowley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
