Softball Recap: Portageville Bulldogs vs. Senath-Hornersville Lions

Portageville waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They had just enough and edged the Senath-Hornersville Lions out 7-6. For Portageville, this counts as revenge for the 21-8 loss Senath-Hornersville walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2021.

Aubrey Greenwell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks.
