Brody Montemayor gave up the fewest hits he has since back in May of 2024 on Friday. Despite the loss, he was still locked in as he tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
