Tri-City can bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Bunker Hill Minutemen. The Tornadoes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Minutemen, too.

Tri-City's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-12. As for Bunker Hill, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Tri-City and Bunker Hill could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Tornadoes will square off against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (552 vs. 203). Meanwhile, Bunker Hill (ranked 590th) will meet Gillespie (ranked 236th) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
