Matthew Metzger Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Northern Cass's Matthew Metzger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Metzger picked up 102 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. His longest reception was for an incredible 88 yards.
Northern Cass is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. Metzger and Northern Cass will face off against Hillsboro/Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Matthew Hoppe Makes It Two for Northern Cass
Another Northern Cass player making an appearance on this list is Matthew Hoppe. He rushed for 91 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Hoppe might just drop another big game when he faces off against Hillsboro/Central Valley on Friday. Hoppe rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry the last time he and the H-CV Burros duked it out back in September of 2023.

While Braysen Sagert delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Oakes. Sagert was dynamite, rushing for three yards.
