Collaborative Studies had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 88-46 loss at the hands of Summit Academy.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Summit Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sariah Gammon, who scored 39 points along with 8 steals. The game was Gammon's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jhency Pabon, who scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals.

Collaborative Studies' defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Summit Academy, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Collaborative Studies will head out on the road to face off against Transit Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Summit Academy, they will be playing at home against Morel Campos at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
