Basketball Recap: Herculaneum Takes a Loss

Herculaneum was the 51-44 winner over Saxony Lutheran when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Herculaneum Black Cats took a 48-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders on Friday. The Black Cats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Herculaneum's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Saxony Lutheran, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Herculaneum will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kingston at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th. As for Saxony Lutheran, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 66-64 defeat against Ste. Genevieve on the 10th.
