 After two games on the road, Warren is heading back home. They will take on the New Lexington Panthers at 8:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Hopefully Warren is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank  in Ohio (they are ranked 84th, while New Lexington is ranked 257th).
 Last Saturday, Warren strolled past Fairfield Union with  points to spare, taking the game  50-33.
 Warren found their leader in underclassman  Aubrey Pepper, who  scored 26 points along with eight  rebounds and six  steals. Another player making a difference was  Delaney Gates, who  scored seven points along with seven  rebounds and two  steals.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of five wins, New Lexington's good fortune finally ran out  on Saturday. They took a   48-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Muskingum. New Lexington has not had much luck with West Muskingum recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 New Lexington's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Chloe Dick, who  scored 25 points along with two  steals, and  Abby Wilson who  scored six points along with eight  rebounds and two  steals. Dick hasn't dropped below 17 points for six straight games.
 Warren is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record  this season. As for New Lexington, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.
This contest  is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor:  Warren  have been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 25  rebounds per game. However, it's not like New Lexington struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 31.2  rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Everything went Warren's way against New Lexington in their previous meeting  back in November of 2023 as Warren made off with a  52-29 win. Will Warren repeat their success,  or does  New Lexington have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
