Basketball Recap: St. Ignatius Comes Up Short

St. Ignatius and Loyola-Sacred Heart squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but St. Ignatius had to settle for second. They had to suffer through an 88-25 loss at the hands of the Loyola-Sacred Heart Rams. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th in Montana, while the Rams are ranked tenth in Montana).

This is the second loss in a row for St. Ignatius and nudges their season record down to 8-15. As for Loyola-Sacred Heart, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-1.

As of now, neither St. Ignatius nor Loyola-Sacred Heart have any future games scheduled.
