Basketball Game Preview: Bradford Red Devils vs. McKenzie Rebels

The Bradford Red Devils will challenge the McKenzie Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bradford will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

While Bradford didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They greeted the New Year with with a 47-31 victory over Milan.

Meanwhile, McKenzie was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past West Carroll 64-33. With the Rebels ahead 37-17 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

McKenzie is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Bradford, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Everything came up roses for Bradford against McKenzie when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 70-35 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bradford since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
